Police arrested Adeniyi Adeyemi, the self-styled Director-General of the controversial Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), in Osun State.
Arrest followed a Federal High Court bench warrant after Adeyemi repeatedly failed to appear for arraignment.
He faces eight-count charges of forgery, fraud, and impersonation.
Investigations revealed PFIPC was a fictitious agency, yet it appeared in the 2026 budget with ₦1.3 billion allocation.
Adeyemi allegedly forged presidential documents and claimed legitimacy.
