TINUBU SETS UP HIGH‑LEVEL COMMITTEE OVER ₦4 TRILLION CONTRACTOR DEBT President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has established a special committee to address the Federal Government’s ₦4 trillion debt owed to more than 2,000 contractors.   The President was reportedly displeased after receiving a detailed briefing from the Bureau of Public Procurement.   The committee is expected to verify claims and recommend immediate payment pathways to ease pressure on the construction and infrastructure sectors.
