Economy: Naira Exchange Rate


On July 15, 2026, the naira traded at ₦1,382/$ in the official market, showing slight depreciation from ₦1,380.50/$ the previous day. 

In the parallel market, it strengthened to ₦1,412/$, narrowing the gap to ₦30.CBN official buy/sell rate: ₦1,384.08 / ₦1,383.08.

British Pound: ₦1,855/£. Analysts say the naira’s direction depends on FX inflows, importer demand, and monetary policy.
