Tinubu on Insecurity
President Bola Tinubu, meeting Vice President Shettima and 23 governors in Lagos during Eid el‑Fitr, declared that “insecurity is the next phase of our struggle”. He confirmed talks with French President Emmanuel Macron for modern security support.  

BUK Expulsions
Bayero University Kano expelled 171 students for falsifying admission credentials.  

Banking Deadline
Nigerian banks are in a last‑minute rush to meet recapitalisation requirements, with just one week left before the deadline.  

Industrial Stocks Surge
The industrial goods sector gained 9.67% on the Nigerian Exchange, adding ₦1.8 trillion in market value, driven by BUACement and Lafarge Africa.

Overland Airways Resumes Flights
