1. World AIDS Day 2025: WAPCP Hosts HIV Response Webinar
To commemorate World AIDS Day 2025, the Lagos Zone of the West Africa Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (WAPCP), in collaboration with the Nigeria Chapter, hosted a webinar titled “Turning Disruption into Progress: Strengthening Nigeria HIV/AIDS Response.”

They discussed how Nigeria can transform supply chain disruptions of antiretrovirals into opportunities, urging support for local pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The call: reduce dependence on foreign donors to ensure continuous access to life-saving medications.
2. IGP Withdraws 11,566 Policemen from VIPs
Inspector General Kayode Egbetokun recalled over 11,500 police officers from VIP duty.
