Olugbile Holloway, Tinubu Appoints New DG of the National Commission for Museums and Monuments
Mr. Olugbile Holloway's appointment as the Director-General of the National Commission for Museums and Monuments has been approved by President Bola Tinubu.
His appointment was announced in a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, titled ‘President Tinubu appoints new Director-General of the National Commission for Museums and Monuments.’
Up until his appointment, Holloway served as the Managing Director of a creative brand/consultancy agency.
He is certified with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Relations and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Holloway succeeds Prof. Abba Tijani who was appointed by former President Muhammadu Buhari on August 26, 2020
Ngelale, further stated that the President expects that the new Director-General will “bring life into this important agency and ensure the preservation, promotion, and development of Nigeria’s diverse tangible and intangible cultural heritage,”.
