Soludo Wins Re-Election in Anambra Landslide.

Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has been re-elected for a second term in Anambra State.  

INEC declared him winner on Sunday, November 9.  

Soludo called it a “historic moment” and thanked voters for their confidence¹²


NSCIA Faults Trump’s Genocide Claims Against Nigeria.

The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) criticized President Trump’s designation of Nigeria as a “country of particular concern.”  

They called the claim inaccurate and inflammatory.




Labour Party Candidate Rejects Anambra Election Results.

Chief George Moghalu, LP candidate, called the election a “monetised mockery of democracy.”  

He cited logistical failures and missing party logos on ballots. ²

Gumi Says Fighting Bandits Is Futile

Controversial cleric Ahmad Gumi stated that Nigeria “can’t win a war against people who have nothing to lose.”  Controversial cleric Ahmad Gumi stated that Nigeria “can’t win a war against people who have nothing to lose.” 

He urged dialogue over military action. ³




UK Warns Citizens Against Travel to Six Nigerian States

The UK Foreign Office issued a travel advisory warning citizens to avoid six Nigerian states due to escalating insecurity, terrorism, and kidnappings. 

States include Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, Zamfara, Kaduna, and Niger ³
